Journal Club

Journal club is arranged by the chief resident and hosted by a different subspecialty each month. Journal club is hosted either at the hospital, a local restaurant, or a physician’s home. There are a minimum of 10 journal club sessions held each year.

Board Review

Residents participate in board review every Friday from 12:00pm – 1:00pm. Sessions are led by chief resident. This is education protected time and free of clinical duties.

Noon Report

Daily case presentation & discussion, Monday through Friday.

Conferences

Residents attend several local and national conferences, including American College of Physicians (ACP) National Conference, ACP Michigan, American College of Osteopathic Internists, Michigan Osteopathic Association, Statewide Campus System Quality Summit, and others of special interest.
